Tested on February 2, 1942 by the Centro Studi della Motorizzazione, but although it represented a particular innovation, the vehicle was never mass-produced. Indeed, this armored car had a unique characteristic in the world: a geometric configuration with wheels arranged in a losange shape. One wheel at the front and another at the rear, and two coaxial central wheels positioned at the lateral extremities of the vehicle (1 x 2 x 1). This allowed the vehicle to have an extremely small turning radius. |
Prototype was assigned to the 6th Motorized Regiment in Bologna (1942). |
