Type 97 Chi-Ha Medium Tank

• Un char excavateur de tranchées fut développé à partir du Type 97 Ci-Ha. Vue en Manchourie, à Wewak et sur la côte nord de la Papouasie-Nouvelle Guinée.
• Se-Ri: char dépanneur doté d'une grue pliante actionnée par un moteur diesel de 240 ch.
• Char anti-mine inspiré des chars "Flail" britanniques, muni de deux rouleaux rotatifs à chaînes.
• Type 97 Ho-K: Type 97 sans tourelle muni d'une proue en acier pour tracer un chemin dans la jungle.
• Type 97 Chi-Ha d'assaut: char kamikaze non armé, bourré d'explosifs avec un équipage de 1-2 hommes.
• Ka-So: char d'observation avec canon factice.
• Ka-Ha: Le canon était factice, les mitrailleuses étaient supprimées. Il transportait une dynamo pouvant générer un haut voltage.

• Chi-Ho: char moyen expérimental avec un châssis similaire au Type 97.
• Type 1 Ti-Ho: char moyen expérimental développé à partir du Type 97.
• Type 5 Ke-Ho: char léger expérimental similaire au Type 97.
• Type 97 Chi-Ha (120 mm): à la fin de la guerre la marine impériale japonaise remplaça sur le Chi-Ha le canon de 57 mm par un canon naval de 120 mm court. Très rare et utilisé exclusivement par la marine.
  

• So-To: tracteur d'artillerie pour canons légers et moyens, basé sur le Type 97.

• Type 2 Ku-Se (Kusae): canon automoteur avec canon de montage Type 99 de 75 mm.
• Automoteur basé sur le Type 97, armé d'un canon de 120 mm.
• Type 4 Ho-Ro: automoteur armé d'un canon lourd de 120 mm.
• Type 1 Ho-Ni I: canon automoteur armé d'un canon de 75 mm.
• Type 2 Ho-Ni II: canon automoteur armé d'un canon de 105 mm.
• Type 3 Ho-Ni III: canon automoteur armé d'un canon de 75 mm.

• Miine exploder tank inspired of the British "Flail" tanks, provided with two rotary rollers with chains.
• Type 97 Ho-K: Type 97 without turret provided with a steel prow to trace a way in the jungle.
• Type 97 Chi-ha Special assault tank: tank kamikaze not armed, stuffed of explosives with a crew of 1-2 men.
• Ka-So: tank of observation with a dummy gun.
• Ka-ha: The gun was dummy, the machine-guns were removed. It transported a dynamo being able to generate a high voltage.

• Chi-Ho: experimental medium tank with a chassis similar to the Type 97.
• Type 1 Ti-Ho: experimental medium tank developed starting from the Type 97.
• Type 5 Ke-Ho: experimental light tank similar to the Type 97.
• Type 97 Chi-ha (120 mm): at the end of the war the Japanese imperial navy replaced on the Chi-ha the gun of 57 mm by a naval gun of 120 mm short. Very rare and used exclusively by the navy.

• So-To: tractor of artillery for light and medium guns, based on the Type 97.

• Type 2 Ku-Se (Kusae): self-propelled gun with Standard gun of assembly 99 of 75 mm.
• SPG based on the Type 97, armed d' a gun of 120 mm.
• Type 4 Ho-Ro: SPG armed d' a heavy gun of 120 mm.
• Type 1 Ho-Ni I: self-propelled gun armed with a gun of 75 mm.
• Type 2 Ho-Ni II: self-propelled gun armed with a gun of 105 mm.
• Type 3 Ho-Ni III: self-propelled gun armed with a gun of 75 mm.
