Char amphibie expérimental de 4t développé en 1938, armé de deux mitrailleuses de 7.7 mm. Le blindage était de 6 mm, l'équipage de 3 hommes et il était propulsé par un moteur essence de 4 cylindres et pouvait atteindre sur terre les 40 km/h.

Experimental amphibious tank of 4t developed in 1938, armed with two machine-guns of 7.7 mm. The shielding was of 6 mm, crew of 3 men and it was propelled by a gasoline engine of 4 cylinders and could reach on ground 40 km/h.

Type 92 A-I-Go Amphibious Tank

Char amphibie expérimental développé par l'armée japonaise qui ne dépassa jamais le stade du prototype. C'est en fait la version amphibie du char léger Type 92. Il était équipé d'une caisse étanche dotée de flotteurs et d'hélices. Il était armé d'une mitrailleuse de 6.5 mm ou de 13.2 mm en tourelle. Son équipage était de 3 hommes. Il était propulsé par un moteur diesel de 45 ch.

Experimental amphibious tank developed by Japanese army which never exceeded the stage of the prototype. It's in fact the version amphibious of the light tank Type 92. It was equipped of a tight hull equipped with floats and propellers. It was armed with a machine-gun of 6.5 mm or 13.2 mm in turret. Its crew was of 3 men. It was propelled by a diesel engine of 45 hp.

Type 4 Ka-Tsu Amphibious Launch

Ce lanceur de torpilles participa de manière peu efficace à l'attaque de Pearl Harbour. En effet les cloisons n'étaient pas vraiment étanches, les équipages qui provennaient des sous-marins de transport étaient sous-formés, le moteur pas assez puissant et très bruyant et les chenilles assez glissantes avaient tendance à sauter au moindre obstacle. Donc pas vraiment une réussite comme véhicule amphibie.

This launcher of torpedes took part in a not very effective way to the attacks of Pearl Harbour. Indeed the walls were not really tight, the crews which came from the submarines of transport were under-formed, the engine was not enough powerful and very noisy and the tracks enough slipping tended to jump to the least obstacle. Thus not really a success like amphibious vehicle.

Type 4 Ka-Sha Amphibious Tank

Char amphibie basé sur le châssis des chars moyens Chi-To ou Chi-Ri.

Amphibious tank based on the chassis of the medium tanks Chi-To or Chi-Ri.

Type 5 To-Ku Amphibious Tank

Le Type 5 To-Ku était armé d'un canon de 47 mm Type 1 monté sur la caisse et d'un canon de 25 mm Type 1 monté en tourelle. L'armement était complété par deux mitrailleuses de 7.7 mm Type 97. Comme le Type 2 et le Type 3 il était équipé de deux pontons de flottaison largables. Un seul exemplaire fut complété.

The Type 5 To-Ku was armed with a 47 mm Type 1 gun assembled on the hull and a 25 mm Type 1 gun assembled in turret. Armament was supplemented by two machine-guns of 7.7 mm Type 97. As Type 2 and Type 3 it was equipped with two releasable floating pontoons. Only one specimen was completed.

FB Swamp Vehicle

Transport amphibie conçu pour traverser les terrains marécageux. Il était dirigé par un équipage de 7 hommes et équipé de flotteusr en caoutchouc. Il pouvait atteindre sur terre 30 km/h et dans l'eau 14.6 km/h.

Amphibious transport conceived to cross the swampy grounds. It was directed by a crew of 7 men and was equipped with rubber floats. It could reach on ground 30 km/h and in l' water 14.6 km/h.
