Germans modified some of their Panhard vehicles. This P 204(f) was fitted with a part of the mantlet and the gun from a Soviet T-26 or BT-5/BT-7 tank. The vehicle therefore likely belongs to either one of the two Panzer-Division reconnaissance groups which operated the P 204(f), or a security unit.on the Eastern Front. |

To coordinate the Panzerspähwagen Panhard 178(f) P204(f), command versions were developed, characterized by the installation of FuG 10 (30 watts) or FuG 11 (100 watts) stations and a frame-antenna named Hochantenne, covering the vehicle. Some vehicles were equipped with a telescopic mast fixed on the right side. |
