One of two Aufklärungspanzer 38 (t) mit 7.5cm KWK 37L / 24, destined to provide a fire support to vehicles armed with the "light" 2 cm KWK 38 ... However these machines were engaged in a completely different unit than that of those with 2cm ...

Following the problems encountered by BBM Skoda in producing sufficient chassis 38 (t) and the difficulties for the German industry to produce them directly, it was decided to completely redesign the Panzerjäger 38 (t). From these studies will be born
the Jagdpanzer 38(d) and in January 1945 a commission on the development of Panzers decides to use the chassis in its reconnaissance version as "platform" for different versions including the armed one of 7.5cm AKF L / 48.

the Jagdpanzer 38(d) and in January 1945 a commission on the development of Panzers decides to use the chassis in its reconnaissance version as "platform" for different versions including that armed with the 2cm KwK 38 gun.
