Following the problems encountered by BBM Skoda in producing sufficient chassis 38 (t) and the difficulties for the German industry to produce them directly, it was decided to completely redesign the Panzerjäger 38 (t). From these studies will be born the Jagdpanzer 38(d) and in January 1945 a commission on the development of Panzers decides to use the chassis in its reconnaissance version as "platform" for different versions including the armed one of 7.5cm AKF L / 48. |
