Laffly 50

At the beginning of the years thirty, the armored cars of the 1st war are out of breath with a fairly high rate of downtime. However for the sake of economy, the bodies still in good condition were reused and mounted on a new chassis, the Laffly LC2, equipped with an engine of 50 hp. 1931-32 Tests will validate this mounting. However the ordered 96 machines are obsolete for a modern war but still significant against opponents devoid of high-performance materials. They will be deployed in the colonies, especially in North Africa and this until 1943 (for the maintenance of the order).

Laffly AMD80

The first copies were tested in 1934, but they were considered obsolete for modern warfare. Only 28 copies were constructed and deployed in the colonies of North Africa. They will fight the Allies in Tunisia in November 1942 and the axis powers within the free army of Africa. They will be still used in North Africa after the war.
